The ideal scenario to use this plan is when you believe you might be able to move your own checkers faster than your opposition does: when 1) you have less pieces on the board; 2) all your pieces have moved beyond your competitor’s pieces; or 3) your opposing player doesn’t use the hitting or blocking strategy.
The Blocking Game Technique
The primary aim of the blocking technique, by the title, is to stop your competitor’s checkers, temporarily, not worrying about shifting your checkers rapidly. After you’ve established the blockage for your competitor’s movement with a few chips, you can move your other chips quickly off the game board. The player really should also have an apparent strategy when to back off and shift the checkers that you employed for the blockade. The game gets intriguing when your opponent uses the same blocking strategy.
